I head the user research team at BT Global and absolutely loving it. I was a PhD Candidate at Augmented Human Lab in University of Auckland and Language and Social Cognition Lab at Singapore University of Technology and Design. My work lies at the intersection of Cognitive Psychology and Human Computer Interaction. Before embarking on my PhD journey, I majored as a Speech Language Pathologist. My strengths and experience lie in designing user experience studies and adopting a range of qualitative, quantitative and biosensing research methods to gain insights on how people across ages interact with technologies. In addition to my love for a user centred design process and evaluating user experiences, I enjoy exploring learning behaviour in children and young adults using comprehensive frameworks. I have a particular interest in STEM learning and learning/ engagement through traditional and non-traditional media like Virtual Reality. I am an ethnographer at heart and strongly believe in following and understanding the user to identify opportunities for innovation. I am an aspiring polymath and love meeting people and bouncing ideas over freshly brewed coffee.
